WISEmpower
WISEmpower is a programme developed by DE Empower Hong Kong and WISE Employment Hong Kong. The goal of WISEmpower is to give graduates and university students living with a disability, mental and physical health condition or injury the skills they need to thrive in entry-level employment.
WISEmpower draws on WISE Employment’s experience in delivering training and employment services. We help find work for graduates from all walks of life, across all industries and occupations.

How WISEmpower can help you
Working with our partners, DE Empower Hong Kong, our dedicated team gets to know you, your strengths, your aspirations, and your challenges. We will talk about your long term employment and career goals to work out the best way WISEmpower can support you.
The WISEmpower programme consists of four key components:
- Conducting an initial assessment and understanding your ambitions
- Career coaching and developing an employment path
- Job placement and support
- WISEmpower Alumni
During stage one, we focus on accessing your strengths and possible areas of development. We work on creating your unique profile to understand the types of work would best suit you and your qualifications.
In stage two, we assist you in creating a coaching and development road map. Road maps can include finding part-time, casual or temporary work, internships, mentoring programmes or extracurricular education and experiences such as Volunteering, short courses or learning additional languages. These options help build your resume and make you a desirable candidate when you transition from study to work.
WISEmpower will help you search for, interview and land your dream graduate role. We also support both you and your new employer through any additional training and organise workplace modifications, all while helping you in your future workplace.
We will provide support for as long as you need, tracking milestones and helping you stay on your chosen career path.
Partnership with universities
WISEmpower combines the strengths of WISE Employment Hong Kong and universities, to provide students living with a disability, injury or a mental or physical health condition with access specialist support on campus. The programme aims to create employment opportunities for students that match their aspirations and qualifications.
WISE Employment Hong Kong provides customised coaching and support to complement your university offerings. Support can be in either one on one, small group or online settings. A large part of WISE Hong Kong’s role is understanding employer needs, educating them on diversity and providing ongoing support to both the employee and employer after starting in the position.
